The wait is over. The 2.0 beta app is here for iOS!
It’s not just a new look, Skritter 2.0 is built on a new framework and it’s opened up the doors to new possibilities, some of which are already here! A new teaching mode, goal mode, leech detection, and longly requested additions, like a landscape mode and dark theme for the iPad app (still on the way). Updates are much faster, and as an example audio and character fixes are grabbed immediately opposed to having to wait for an app update. Good news for Japanese studying Skritizens– you can now finally write kana on iOS!
If you’re excited to test things out for yourself and see what’s new, you can fill out the field below with your email address, and we’ll send you an email with a TestFlight invite link so you can grab the beta version as soon as we finish one last round of testing and it’s approved by Apple.
We’re all filled up and can’t accept any more testers, however we’re gearing up to release the final version which will be available in the App Store (separate from the existing iOS app). If you’re antsy to check things out, you won’t need to wait much longer. Thanks very much to our beta testers, we appreciate it!
