こんにちは fellow (Japanese-learning) Skritterers! This is a quick blog post just to let you all know that there is a new “Skritter Japanese 201” list now available for study.
If you haven’t studied the 101 list yet, you should do that first; the new list doesn’t cover the words used on the previous 101 list.
Here’s the link to the 101 list:

And here’s the link to the new 201 list:

It is a lot larger than the first, with nearly 1000 words, and covers topics like common words and adjectives, common verbs, nature terms, food terms (a whopping 150 of them), all the animals you could ever care about (probably more!), basic colors (which weren’t covered in the first list), numbers, common expressions, some basic grammar points, words dealing with time, places, common expressions and parts of speech, and people.
Completing this list would be a great accomplishment, and prepare you for the next “301” list.
On another note, if you have any questions related to Skritter or Japanese– please feel free to send them in to “Dear Skritter”. If you don’t know what that is, you can check out the blog post about it here: http://blog2.skritter.com/2013/07/introducing-new-dear-skritter-column.html
